The Goal of the Marshall University Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Club is to offer students the chance to learn the skills, techniques, and history of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is known as an extremely effective "ground fighting" martial art. It combines Judo throws, Aikido twists, Sombo Leg-Submissions, and Jiu-Jitsu chokes & arm-bars. It has evolved so much that it can be essentially recognized as a very unique art.
We will have an informational booth in the Student Center during the first week of school.
Class will start on September 4th.
Class Time & Location:
6:30 - 8:00 pm in Gullickson Hall on Level C - Room 2003 (Blue Room)
